Who would have thought?
I would have never thought that Houlihan's would be a cool place to hang out late at night. Most of the bars in the area close at 2 am, but Houlihan's stays open until 3, and at first that seemed like the only good reason to go there. To my surprise, they keep the kitchen open real late, the small plates are great (especially the bar nachos) and the bartenders look like they belong in a Victoria's Secret catalog. On top of that, the crowd is pretty social and friendly.
