Like its name suggests, General Poors Tavern makes no presumptions. Locally owned for almost a decade, and located in Hackensack, NJ, General Poors touts itself as the place to go if you're looking for good pub food and drink and maybe to play a round or two of pool or darts.

Another good dive bar...
This is another great dive bar in the greater Hackensack area. You can't beat the price on pitchers of Coors and Bud Light. The food is hit or miss, but really only the items that shouldn't be on pub menus to begin with (seafood) are the ones to look out for. It's probably in need of some renovation, although some may say that the worn out look adds character.
