The Thirsty Armadillo

The Thirsty Armadillo closed down in 2003 and recently reopened in January of 2011.  This was an exciting time for the Stockyards, and Texas musicians came down to perform for free just to be a part of the celebration!

Thirsty Much?
I have been to The Thirsty Armadillo a few times and had a blast. It's definitely one of the smallest bars in the Stockyards, but those are the best in my opinion. There are only a few tables inside, but there is a decent size dance floor for the bands on the weekends.
