Refusing to go down without a fight, McSwiggans Pub has returned to full form after being the victim of a terrible fire.  Located in Hoboken, NJ, the remodeled McSwiggans sports a Phoenix logo to mark its rebirth. The bar is a cross between a traditional Irish pub, lively sports bar and local hot spot - it all depends on when you visit.

If you can get in you'll have fun.
Going here on the weekends is pretty rough since it gets extremely crowded. Don't be surprised to wait up to an hour to get in, and very few bars in Hoboken are worth that. If you can dodge the big crowds this is a good place to drink for young people. The crowd is energetic without being too lame and the beers are really cheap for a nightclub environment. The DJ is known is spin some throwbacks late at night.
