Go for the events and happy hour.
The York Street Tavern always has something going on but a lot of it sounds better on paper than it is in actuality. The Happy Hour sports great prices but the taps aren't the freshest and the mixed drinks are not very strong. The service is quite good as is the food. It's quieter than most places on the weekend - if that is what you are into.
