Insanely cheap
It's tight, cramped and hard to find but this rare gem in tourist heavy Times Square is a great alternative for locals. The beers are $3 and the mixed drinks usually run about $5. Can't beat that given the area. There's a whole boxing vibe about the place, and considering I'm a fan of the sport it comes across as rather unique and interesting.
