Al-Farabi occupies a townhouse centennial, dated 1865 and located in the Corridor Cultural Center in Rio de Janeiro. It has a comprehensive collection of books, a collection of nearly three thousand vinyl records, CDs and DVDs plus. Since 2008 has a space dedicated to exhibitions of prints and a restaurant specializing in Brazilian food. With lunch Monday through Saturday and happy hour Tuesday through Friday, Al-Farabi combines good food, fun, debauchery and the best of literature. All in one place!
