STORY
New York City: Many Years Ago… A man was tired of having to go to the bar just to drink with his friends, so he rented a small storefront, grabbed some lawn chairs and a cooler full of Kronenbourg, and invited his buddies to come drink with him. He called it goodfriend, because that’s what it was all about. This is our take on his simple genius, because what’s better than burgers and beers with your friends?
DRINKS
We take pride in hand-selecting the best beer from the best American craft breweries. Our rotating drafts often feature rare, limited availability brews, including some local favorites. With 16 taps and over 60 bottled beers, there is always something new to try. Our knowledgeable staff can recommend one that suits your particular taste or steer you toward something completely different. Beyond beer, we offer a full selection of liquor and the N2 wine tap system, featuring four fine Napa wines.
FOOD
Our menu was developed by Jeana Johnson and Colleen O’Hare, who have worked in some of the finest kitchens in Dallas. Starting with a proprietary blend of grass-fed beef, each of our 10 burgers stands on its own as a unique creation, with something for every palette, including a black bean burger for those who lean vegetarian. Beyond burgers, we offer a full selection of sandwiches, salads, sides, and desserts.
THE PLACE
goodfriend is, first and foremost, a neighborhood bar. On any given night, we’re crowded with the people who live right around us, often including families. Our friendly staff takes pride in making everyone feel at home. The centerpiece of the space is the large, horseshoe shaped bar, which is flanked by dining areas, including a heated patio. We also have a stage, which we utilize for live music events throughout the year.
