If you’re willing to stray from the beaten track, The Blue Light pub — nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains — is certainly worth the trek. The Blue Light offers live music, eccentric locals, perfect Guinness and a stunning view of the city.
The pub is popular with bikers, and there’s a band playing there most nights. Due to its location, the pub’s atmosphere is a little less touristy than some of the places in central Dublin. That’s not to say you won’t be welcome, though!
