Lusardi's Restaurant

Lusardi's is a a beloved institution that harks back to 1982 and has been revered by the likes of Andy Rooney, who had a special table there.  The dining room is all quintessential cozy Italian charm with its rich buttercup yellow walls, glowing white lanterns, large jovial posters, wood accents and white table clothed food and drink goodness.  Lusardi's became famous for their price point friendly "Buried Diamonds," or white truffles, that are shaved, in season, over their spectacular selection of luscious pasta dishes.  The fine wine list has received honorable mention from Zagat who called it "winning."

Italian done right.
Lusardi's is more of a charming and cozy pseudo fine-dining establishment than a let your hair hang down night out type of place. But if you want a chic yet amazingly unpretentious eatery with a really cheerful atmosphere. Lusardi's is perfect. It's hard to feel anything but upbeat and grateful while ensconced in sunshine colored walls. The food is tried and true Italian done right with amazing pasta and delicious seafood and chicken dishes. The wine list is quite extraordinary, too, featuring a scroll of international reds and whites, with prices ranging from 19 dollars for a half bottle of Sonoma to a whopping 795 smackers for a fine Italian red, with something for everyone in between.
