A deep red, spicy flavored ale patterned after the “Dubble” style ales brewed by the Trappist monks in Belgium. Other breweries in Belgium and the Netherlands with associations to monks made similar style beers. The fruity esters and spicy flavors are derived from the high temperature fermentation of the yeast strain we use.
