Perhaps the most famous New Orleans drink
A bit on the sweet side, but still a powerful punch (appropriately named). In New Orleans, make sure you go to Pat O'Briens to have an authentic hurricane drink... if you're with friends, order a Magnum (equivalent of about 20 hurricanes in a really large hurricane glass.

Great party drink.
