Il Posto Accanto
Bars and Pubs
A visit-worthy wine bar
This incredibly charming little slice of an Italian wine bar, or enoteca, gloriously stays open until 3 AM, which makes it absolutely perfect for a casual, civilized late night out/break from the usual bar mayhem and hubbub. The dining room is pretty as a picture with its exposed brick, golden yellow walls and rustic dark wooden tables. The menu has some standout dishes to sample including the house antipasto plate, the tomato-basil pizzala, or mini pizza, the ricotta cavatelli and the oxtail-stuffed tortellini. All of these delights can easily be paired with the proper wine choice from their impressive wine list of reds, whites and roses. Bottles tend to float in price around the $35 mark, but you are also welcome to order a half or quarter carafe or glass, as well.
