Havana Club 3 Años is the most prestigious of all white rums. It brings a touch of unparalleled class to all cocktails and blends. Havana Club 3 Años is the result of blending aged and aromatic sugarcane aguardientes with extra light sugarcane distillates to produce a selection of young rums. This batch of rums is then allowed to rest in white oak barrels after which the Maestro Ronero chooses the best barrels and blends the final three-year-old rum, which is again set to rest, then filtered and bottled.
Appearance
Havana Club 3 Años has a pleasant "light straw" colour and is bright, clear and dense, thereby revealing its age.
Nose
Havana Club 3 Años has an intense nose with accents of vanilla, caramelised pears, banana and hints of smoked oak.
Palate
A very pleasant palate, with smoky, vanilla and chocolate notes.
Perfect serve
Havana Club Añejo 3 Años is the ideal ingredient for all premium cocktails, such as the Cuban Daiquirí as served at the legendary Floridita in Havana. It is slightly drier than Añejo Blanco and can also be enjoyed neat or over ice by rum connoisseurs.
