Very peaty and unique flavor. The malt is peated to a phenol level of about 18-22 ppm which is quite high.

Talisker was the favourite whisky of writers Robert Louis Stevenson and Henry Vollam Morton. In his poem. "The Scotsman's Return From Abroad", Stevenson mentioned "The king o' drinks, as I conceive it, Talisker, Islay, or Glenlivet."

Out of the ordinary single malt
Peaty, fruity, honey taste, great bouquet, slightly smokey, strangely salty
